Wool for cold floors
Thick-knit socks in undyed merino and lambswool, made in small batches for slow mornings and long winters.
The pairs we reach for
View allKnit thick, washed soft
Every pair starts as a cream merino yarn we wash before knitting, so the first wear feels like the fiftieth. Ribbed cuffs that stay up, a hand-linked toe seam you will never feel, and a heel built for wooden floors and walking boots alike.

Word from warm feet
"Two winters of daily wear on flagstone floors and the heel has not thinned a bit."
"I bought one pair to test and four more the same week. The cuffs actually stay up."
"Soft enough to sleep in, sturdy enough for boots. My whole family gets a pair at Christmas."
Wool, answered
Will they itch?
No. We knit with fine-gauge merino and lambswool, both washed soft before they reach the frame. If a pair still bothers you, send it back.
How do I wash them?
Cool machine wash on a wool cycle, then dry flat. No tumble dryer, no bleach, and they will keep their shape for years.
What size should I order?
Our socks come in three ribbed sizes with plenty of stretch. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — wool relaxes with wear.
A letter when the wool lands
